Coach K Leads Team USA To The World Championship

What a year for Coach K. First a national championship with the Duke Blue Devils, then a World Championship with Team USA. I'm continually amazed at what an incredible basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski is. In my opinion, he's the second greatest college basketball coach of all to John Wooden, of course.

As basketball coaches and players, I think we can learn a lot from Coach K. His accomplishments speak for themselves; however, I think his coaching philosophy and the impact he has on his players is what sets him apart from so many other coaches in the game.

NBA All-Star and Team USA member Kevin Durant had this to say about Coach K..."Hes a great motivator. No matter what, he always tells us that we have to respect our opponents and have to play our hardest and well live with the results. I love a guy like that. For him to say that and try to come out here and win a World Championship speaks volumes to me. Hes such a great coach. Its an honor to play for him."
