- The players start in a 1-4 high formation.
- 1 can pass to either wing to start the offense.
- 1 passes to 3.

- After passing to 3, 1 will use 5's screen to cut toward the basket looking for a return pass from 3.
- If 1 is open, 3 should make the pass to them.
- If 1 does not get the pass from 3, they should continue through the lane and use the double screen set by 2 and 4 at the low post area.
- 1 should cut out to the wing area.

- After setting the double screen for 1, 4 will move out to the top of the key.

- 3 will pass the ball to 4 who will swing it over to 1.
- As this is happening, each ball handler should be looking for a drive to the basket or an open teammate in the lane area.
- The players could also run the play again from the other side of the court. As 4 passes to 1, 2 would come up to set the screen to start the play.

- Option: When 3 has the ball, 5 could come out and set a back screen. They could then run the pick and roll play.
- 3 would dribble to the elbow area and 5 would roll toward the basket.
