Actually, this was probably one of the greatest NBA slam-dunk contests ever. Michael Jordan's creativity against Dominique Wilkins' sheer power. What a great contest.
There are others who can take off and dunk from the free throw line, but no one has ever made it look this cool.
I mean, Michael has the legs bent, the left arm back and the basketball cocked and ready to be dunked. It literally looks like he's flying to the basket.
I can remember how the fans went absolutely crazy when Michael was walking to the far end of the basketball court preparing for this dunk. And then they went even crazier after this dunk.
It was one of the greatest dunks of all-time, and certainly one of the best basketball pictures ever.
