AT WHAT AGE SHOULD I START TO TEACH A RIGHT HAND BASKETBALL PLAYER TO SHOOT THE LAYUP WITH THE LEFT HAND?

RIGHT NOW THE EIGHT YEAR OLD PLAYERS ARE SHOOTING THE LAY UP FROM THE LEFT SIDE BUT WITH THE RIGHT HAND.

I think that you should teach them as soon as possible. It will give them more time to get used to it, then hopefully when they're older it will be second nature to them!! =]
