Kobe Bryant Dunking

Kobe Bryant is the best NBA player of all time. Here's why...

He has 12 NBA All-Star game apperances.
5 NBA Championship rings.
Two NBA Finals MVP awards.
1 NBA MVP award.
All-NBA First and Second team awards for all his years.
He scored 81 points against the Toronto Raptors.

It doesn't seem like much but he should have won the NBA MVP Award in 2006-07 and 2005-06 - he averaged 35.4 points a game and 32.9 points a game in those seasons. He didn't win it because his team had a bad record.

I think he's better than Michael Jordan because back then there was only man to man defense and no zone defense...so who is going to guard Kobe one on one besides Shane Battier? There aren't many defenders who can guard him one on one, without the help of a zone defense.

I think he's better than Kareem because Kareem was not an average big man. With his size advantage back then he only had to use a hook shot to score most of his points.

Lebron James is 2 inches taller than Kobe, but he hasn't developed a consistent midrange jump shot and can only drive to the basket.

This is is why I feel Kobe Bryant is the greatest NBA player that has ever played the game.

You need to learn more about Basketball
by: David Ryan

Make this question to yourself:
Do you think that Kobe would achieve the same in the epoch when Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, and Larry Bird were young players? In the epoch of Michael Jordan, it was harder to achieve something; trust me.

You wanna talk about numbers, ok, let's talk about numbers:

Kobe has 12 NBA All-Star game appearances... and!!?? it doesn't mean that he is the best; Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has 19 NBA All-Star game appearances, and he is not the best. Michael Jordan, Jerry West and Karl Malone, they have 14; Shaq has 15, and Chamberlain has 13.

Kobe has 5 NBA Champions Rings... and!!! Sam Jones has 10, and a few people know who was Sam Jones. Michael Jordan won 6 championships; Abdul-Jabbar 6; and Bill Russell 12. It doesn't means that a player is the best.

Kobe has two NBA Finals MVP awards... and!!! Michael Jordan is six-time NBA Finals MVP!!! Magic Johnson 3, Abdul-Jabbar 2, Larry Bird 2, Shaquille O'Neal 3, and Tim Duncan 3.

Kobe has 1 NBA MVP award... And!!!!
Michael Jordan is five-time NBA MVP. Chamberlain 4, Bill Russell 5, Larry Bird 3, Magic Johnson 3, and Moses Malone 3.

Kobe has All-NBA First and Second team awards for all his years... And!!!
Michael Jordan is 11-time All-NBA selection, and nine-time All-Defensive Team selection.

Do you think that Kobe is better than Michael Jordan just because there aren't many defenders who can guard Kobe one on one, without the help of a zone defense? You need to learn more about basketball. When you get the league to change its rules, you know you have made a big impact on the game. The NBA brought back zone defenses because teams simply could not handle O'Neal's massive size and agility.

But let me give you a short description about MICHAEL JORDAN:

- basketball Hall of Fame
- member of 6 NBA championship teams
- 4th all-time in field goals made in NBA history
- 4th all-time in free throws made in NBA history
- 8th all-time in free throws attempted in NBA history
- 2ndall-time in steals in NBA history
- 3rd all-time in points in NBA history
- 1st all-time in points per game in NBA history
- 3rd all-time in steals per game in NBA history
- 14-time NBA All-Star
- Rookie of the Year
- Defensive Player of the Year
- 5-time NBA MVP
- 6-time NBA Finals MVP
- All-Rookie Team
- 11-time All-NBA selection
- 9-time All-Defensive Team selection

"Jordan is mentally and physically the greatest player to ever lace them up. Period". - Jeff Fox

"Nothing I can write here that comes close to doing MJ justice. No one else comes close."

If you need it explained, why are you here reading this?

You need more explanation about why you need to learn more about basketball? come'on wake up!!!

Why we are arguing about this?? everyone knows that Jordan is the NBA All-Time Greatest Player.

Numbers, numbers, numbers
by: Anonymous

You are only focused in numbers. You need an advice from a real columnist. Check out the games, movements, plays, skills, facts; no only numbers... That's why Michael Jordan made history: FACTS!!

There are lot of players with good scores and awards, but in fact, they are not legends.

Yes is true that Kobe won awards but you think that it would be the same luck to Kobe with an young MJ in the season?

I will not tell more, this is waste of time.
