All you have to do is not look scared.

When you are dribbling the basketball just keep it close to you, and look like you own the court, and it is your game. :)

Another thing no NOT let them get to you.

Being a threat

Everytime you receive the basketball, square to the basket as if you're going to attack it. You don't have to, but it makes the defense more wary and makes them think.

You could also make a ball fake or dribble towards the basket then pass it off.

Whereas if you don't even look at the basket and just pass the ball off, then you wont be a threat.
