The basketball free throw line is 15 feet from the backboard.

This can modified for youth leagues to accommodate the age and skill level of the players.

The main goal for youth basketball players is to allow them to experience success. Often times this means modifying the court dimensions so they are able to shoot the basketball more comfortably and with more success.
