You can never cheer enough!

This a simple, yet great point that Gary makes. Basketball is a fun sport and your child is playing it because they love it, want to get better at it and above all else - want to have fun.

Basketball parents should always support and encourage their children - that should be obvious to all parents.

However, just as important is the support and respect parents show the coaches, referees, opponents, etc... This is a simple way of teaching our children the importance and value of good sportsmanship.

Basketball is so much more enjoyable for the children when the parents act like supportive and caring parents, and not like lunatic fans.
