Basketball Training Tips For The Serious Player!

Basketball Training has become such a critical part of today's game. Players and coaches are always looking for a ways to improve their overall performance.


  • Players that are serious about improving their level of play understand that they need to train their bodies for peak performance.

  • Coaches that are interested in building a solid basketball program realize they must give their players the tools needed to properly condition their bodies.

If you don't believe me, just look at the athletes that play on the more successful high school and college teams. They are all supremely conditioned players. Proper basketball training and conditioning along with personal determination and dedication have enabled them to succeed! It can happen for you too!!

I've been asked many times by players and coaches for basketball training tips. My answer every time is "It all depends on what you're looking to accomplish." I say that because it's hard for me to determine what basketball training methods a player should use unless I know them personally. There are many things to take into consideration: Age, current fitness level, desired goals, facilities and equipment available, etc...
