Basketball Drill: Worship The Glass

by Tim Drake
(Los Angeles, California)

This is a great basketball drill for anyone who wants to become a great shooter, it is especially good for the big man.

When shooting the basketball, sometimes it's better to use the backboard than to try to get a swish. Using the backboard will also improve your accuracy.

Start at the block. Try to make thirty shots on either side. Next go back 3 feet and do the same thing only start shooting 10 shots. Keep doing this until you are about 6 feet away from the 3 point line.

This basketball shooting drill will teach you to worship the glass and realize why it came into basketball in the first place. This drill will also improve your all around shot!
