You are exactly right Matt. Basketball clinics and coaching seminars are a fantastic and simple way to gain more knowledge about the game of basketball.
Some of my best learning took place at coaching clinics that I attended at local universities. Some were put on by NCAA coaches, others by NBA coaches, while some were put on by the local high school coaches.
Regardless of the format, attending these basketball clinics is crucial to your success as a coach.
After all, a basketball coach is a teacher of the game. In order to teach the skills of the game properly you must be properly educated. Basketball coaching seminars are simple and effective way to accomplish this.
